Winterlicious Tag - Blogmas Day 14

Wow only 11 days till Christmas and 5 days left of school!! Getting sidetracked: the Winterlious Tag:

1) Favourite winter nail polish?

I have to go for the red and gold glitter it is Christmas in a nail polish. The main one I have been wearing is the Maybelline Color show Brogades in Rosy Rosettes.

2) Favourite winter lip product?

As I am not a wearer of bright lip products which are probably the usually answer in this category. I think I will say my current favourite lip product being the Maybelline Color Elixir in 705 redefined rose.

3) Favourite Winter scent/candle?

I love the smell of real Christmas trees, gingerbread and roast turkey. 

4) Favourite winter beverage?

I love hot chocolate creamy and sweet it just makes me feel warm and happy. 

5) All time favourite Holiday movie?

Love Actually it is Christmasy and really funny!! For a more family friendly option I love the film Nativity if is funny and great for the whole family. 

6) Favourite Christmas song?

Difficult one... last time I said Fairytale in New York so I'll change my tune ;) probably 'Do they know it's Christmas time' 

7) Favourite holiday food/treat?

Roast potatoes, parsnips and gammon 

Let's talk Christmas Jumpers - Blogmas Day 12

This seemed like the right time to speak about the awesome festive jumpers!!!I personally own 4 and I have already worn each of them at least once this fine December.

I feel like in recent years Christmas jumper have become more of a 'thing' as in more popular. Today ( the 12th of December) is Save the Children's national (UK) Christmas Jumper day.

This particular model needs to smile it is Christmas for goodness sake!! 

Of course Primark is the best for Christmas jumpers especially as you don't want to spent too much on a jumper you wear for a limited time of the year.

The Best Christmas Shop Ever!! - Blogmas Day 11

I'm sorry this post is late!! Kathe Wohlfahrt in Rothenburg, Germany there are other branches of the store else where in Germany but in Rothenburg is the biggest. With baubles from wall to wall, it is Christmas Heaven anytime of the year, having visited in July!!

Collection cream puff moisturising lip cream review - Blogmas Day 10

Described as ' velvety soft, matte finish lip cream'. I own shade 3: 'Fairy Cake' which is a rosy coraly pink for lack of a better description!!

I like the soft texture and there is a distinct vanillary scent. I haven't used it too much but there doesn't seem to be much product in the bottle it was £2.99 though. The packaging is simple it doesn't look expensive but it does look more than its given price tag. The applicator is average nothing special. The finish is quite matte but not very drying, although I always wear lip balm underneath. It as a smooth application with out catching on any dry patches on my lips. I do recommend this product if you are on a tight budget, as I will certainly look to wear this more in the future!

It's the most wonderful *TAG* of the year! -Blogmas Day 9

First I love the name of this tag it makes me think of Christmas and sing about Christmas which truly is ( for me at least) the most wonderful time of the year!

1)Favourite Christmas song? Movie?

Fairy tale in New York great song and Nativity I think is my favourite Christmas film.

3)Do you like to stay pin your PJs or dress up for Christmas?

As my family and I go to church on Christmas morning and then travel on the motorway for 3 hours I tend to dress up. I think dressing up is part of the fun and finding a wacky Christmas jumper.

4)Where do you usually spend your Christmas?

It starts off at home with stockings and on Christmas Eve my Mum's parents come round and we have a roast dinner and any presents which are at our house we open but our stockings. Then after church on Christmas morning we go down to be Aunt's and have dinner there at around 3pm. 

5) Can you name all of Santa's reindeer?

Dancer, Prancer, Vixon, Rudolph, Comet, so no!

6) What  holiday tradition are you most looking forward to this year?

Christmas dinner!! and Christmas shopping.

7) Is you Christmas tree real or fake?

Fake sadly I have never grown up with a real one I love seeing my friends real tree.

Benefit Gimme Brow Review - Blogmas Day 7

The Benefit Gimme Brow has been a product with quite a lot of love and I suppose hype around it. It is a tinted brow gel which you simply brush through your brows. 

The smell is strong, which is something I had never heard anybody mention. It smells kind of glue/paint like which personally is not what I usually want to put on my face!! To be improved I would prefer that it had no scent. 

Secondly I am continue I have the product on as I can feel it, kind of like when your wearing face paint is the only sensation I can compare it to. My brow kind of feel crusty but you get used to it like wearing hair gel. 

The brush/spolie that the product is on can get a bit clogged up so I recommend removing any excess with a tissue before using it for a better finish. 

Overall once I was used to the product, I really liked it as it is so quick and easy to use. The finish is also very natural whether it is worth it's £15.75 price tag is another question, I'm still not completely sold on the price.
